Magnetic paints are black because of the presence of magnetic particles. Applying normal paint over the magnetic coating can achieve the desired colour. We recommend the application of a white water-based primer (e.g., White Primer) before applying your chosen colour. Subsequently, install wallpaper or a digital print featuring your selected pattern or design over Super Magnetic Paint. We suggest choosing a thin product for the top layer, as a deeper or thicker topcoat can impact magnetic performance.

Yes, all the coats required are supplied within the tin. For Super Magnetic Paint you will require 4 coats of paint.

Yes, but due to the dark gray color of magnetic paint, you may need to apply more than one coat of the color of your choice. We recommend using a primer for a smooth white base for lighter shades of topcoat paint.

Great product

We used it to paint one wall in children’s playroom. We applied 4 coats. We use both regular magnets for single sheets and strong magnets for multiple sheets or painted art work. I can see they don’t charge for delivery anymore which is great. I did manage to get free delivery but it needed a few phone calls. Since our purchase I have recommended the product to friends and wide honey improvement community. Would definitely use it again.
