How do I apply Whiteboard Wallpaper?

Transform Your Walls with Whiteboard Wallpaper – Simple, Seamless and Stylish

Prepare The Walls: Check and fill any holes or cracks in the surface with a normal decorator’s filler.
Clean The Walls: Remove the existing or old wallpaper, sand rough areas smooth, and apply primer to absorbent surfaces before installing Whiteboard Wallpaper.
Measure and Cut: With a pencil, mark a straight, level and horizontal line across the wall. Roll out your wallpaper on the floor and measure it to your desired length, thereafter cutting it with sharp scissors.
Prepare the Adhesive: Add a splash of water (10%) to the heavy-duty adhesive if required and then stir until smooth.
Apply Adhesive in Two Coats: Roll on with a paint roller two coats of adhesive, letting the first coat dry to the touch before adding the second.
Hang with Care: Apply the wallpaper to your prepped surface, smoothing as you go. Firmly press the wallpaper across the entire surface, ensuring no air bubbles remain before moving to the next section. Allow 24 hours curing time.

However, kindly ensure that the surface must be clean, free of any debris or old wallpaper. Also, for absorbent surfaces, a primer is recommended before you actually begin the application process.

Priming is only essential for absorbent surfaces to ensure better adhesion. Also, if the surface is uneven, then applying a primer can help create a smoother finish for the dry erase wallpaper.

It's easy to clean a whiteboard surface. All you need is a regular dry cloth or a slightly damp one for cleaning the surface. For attaining the best results, use a standard Whiteboard Cleaning Spray. However, if you accidentally use one, then don’t worry. Our Permanent Ink Remover is designed to effectively clean permanent marker stains from your surface.

Well, if a permanent marker has been used, then just try writing over the stain with a whiteboard marker.

This reactivates the ink, thus making it easier to wipe it off. However, you need to wait for a minute or so and then gently wipe it clean, but if this method doesn’t work, then use Permanent Ink Remover. This product is available on website and is a specialised cleaner that is highly effective for removing permanent marker stains, ghosting, and other stubborn marks from whiteboards and whiteboard wallpaper surfaces.

Dry Erase Wallpaper can be applied using a ready mixed heavy duty wallpaper adhesive. Simply apply the adhesive to the wall using a roller and then apply the whiteboard wallpaper.

At the joint, overlap the dry erase vinyl and double cut right through with a sharp blade. This will minimize the appearance of seams on your whiteboard surface.

White dry erase board wallpaper can be hung horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. We recommend hanging the writing wallpaper horizontally to minimize seams on writing areas.
