How to Apply Magnetic Whiteboard Wallpaper

Magnetic whiteboard wallpaper is very simple to install and can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or on curved surfaces.

Step 1 - Surface Prep

Polish the surface before application. Use Primer for absorbent surfaces and let it fully dry before applying adhesive.

Step 2 - Prepare Adhesive

Mix 5% water into the ready-mixed vinyl-over-vinyl adhesive and use for all magnetic dry erase wall coverings.

Step 3 - Apply Adhesive

Apply two coats of adhesive to the wall and wait for 30 minutes between the coats.

Step 4 - Apply Wallpaper

Apply the black side of the wallpaper to the wall, smoothing out air bubbles and excess adhesive with a spatula. Use after 48 hours of installation.

Yes, you can hang magnetic whiteboard wallpaper either horizontally or vertically. Horizontal installation is recommended.

How can I hide seams while installing Magnetic Dry Erase Wallpaper?

To hide seams while applying any magnetic vinyl wallpapers, but the edges together or overlap and double-cut through both layers using a sharp blade. A well-crafted joint is not visible from a couple of meters away.

What adhesive should I use for Magnetic Whiteboard Wallpapers?

Use a vinyl-on-vinyl adhesive to install the magnetic whiteboard wallpaper. Apply two solid coats of adhesive to the wall with a roller. Note: Regular vinyl adhesive is not suitable.
